What’s included in the participation fee:
For first-time participants,
you will get to experience the process of sprinkling pure gold onto ceramics that I have prepared in advance.
You will be able to take the ceramic piece home with you on the same day.
I will provide all the necessary tools and materials, so please come empty-handed on the day.
For those who have own kintsugi tools,
bring the ceramics you wish to repair and the tools you have. I will provide any missing tools or materials.
You will repair them yourself, and I will guide and support you based on traditional techniques.
Important Notes:
Urushi lacquer is a natural lacquer made from the sap of the Urushi tree. It may cause skin irritation if it comes into contact with the skin. Also, since gold powder is used, those with metal allergies should wear a mask. Gloves and masks will be provided at the venue on the day of the event, but please be aware that you will be responsible for any allergic reactions that may occur.
